Summit Preconstruction Consultants helps project owners, contractors, designers, and construction teams make better decisions before work begins.

Many construction problems do not start in the field. They begin earlier — with unclear scope, incomplete coordination, missed quantities, unrealistic budgets, or assumptions that were never fully tested.

Summit provides independent preconstruction consulting focused on identifying those issues early through scope review, drawing review, budget development, estimating support, bid preparation, quantity verification, constructability review, and owner-side guidance.

The goal is simple: bring clarity to the project before construction begins.

  Summit was founded by Frank Abbott, who brings more than four decades of experience in landscape construction, civil/site-related work, estimating, budgeting, project operations, and team leadership.

Frank began in the landscape industry in 1981 and later founded and operated his own installation company before selling the business in 2003. He went on to serve as General Manager of a multi-branch landscape company in Arizona, where he oversaw residential installation, high-end custom residential installation, commercial construction, and HOA common area maintenance operations.

In that GM role, Frank managed teams of up to 65 personnel and supported projects for homeowners, developers, HOAs, municipalities, educational institutions, and state and federal project environments. His work included drainage systems, roadway-related improvements, common areas, and large-scale landscape and site-related construction.

This background gives Summit a practical, field-informed perspective on scope, budget, constructability, and coordination before construction begins.
